You stink.
No, not you ... you there. Yes, you over there. Don't look around, I mean you. Red top, open book ... yes. You.
I dont mean to be rude, but you stink.
Oi, Lady halfway up the bus! Please, if I wanted to know what was in the free paper I would pick up a copy and read it. Nobody needs to know what you're reading because most of them have also got a paper open in front of them. It's free! They can read! Shush now!
Excuse me, sir. Yes, you with the camouflage jacket. Do you realise the whole bus is also listening to your music? Are you deaf? It might be all that loud music you listen to. Oh, and by the way ... your taste in music leaves much to be desired.
Who is talking? The early morning bus is not for general chit-chat; it's for reflection and quiet contemplation. I don't care that he said that she said that her dad's friend's dog's favourite squeaky toy said ... oh no, wait. Really? That's rather odd. I'm intrigued. Keep talking.
The bus journey is a never ending tale of humanity. Good, bad and ugly.

I'm convinced there's a sit-com waiting to be written set on a bus.
It could be a good source of comedy exploring the dynamic between the same people getting the same bus every morning. Who sits where! Oi that's my seat. Nobody wants to sit next to the smelly bloke etc. etc. etc.

We should pitch it to the top tellybox channels. I don't want it set north of Watford though. And I want Jack Dee to play the miserable bus driver. Russell Howard can be the young cheeky driver who all the old ladies love.

@Poppylicious Although I do like the idea of Jack Dee it has to be set up north!
Oh dear! Creative differences already!!!

Thank you. It's amazing how even the most simple and ordinary everyday events can trigger something deep inside me. Maybe I should just spend my life travelling around the world making observations about strangers going about their daily lives!?

Thankfully this journey only lasts an hour, although I do suffer it five mornings a week. I used to have to travel about three hundred and fifty miles, six times a year, by coach when I was at university. I both loved and hated those experiences!

I take public transport every day, it's usually interesting to be around so many people. Sometimes I make profiles of them according to their behavior!
It would be better if all people were careful with their hygiene. I don't mind the talking or the reading!

@Poppylicious You can see and listen all kind of things in public transport!
I have learnt to be more tolerant with people and go to my destination quietly.
It needs a lot of patience but I am practicing every day!

I don't mind the reading or the talking ... usually! I can be quite sensitive to sound though, and I don't think that helps!

I don't think it matter where you are, there are always the same people going about the same lives ... how depressing!
