Other store bites the dust

Were I live the mall is a ghost town Two stores just bite the dust. Thr one you see In the photo and a hallmark card shop close Down.last year macy close their store a few years JC penny close there store to. I guess the mall does not want business

It's the same here, the stores have not enough clients and they close.

My town does not have any factories left. I should of said county. At one time IBM Was the biggest employer in the county. They are now shut down .In other town We had channel masters. That town All so had a company that made the Best pocket knives in the US that company Was call sharde not sure if i spell the name right But the wired thing in my town is the out side Malls strip centers what ever you want call them are doing good. I think the mall problem is the rent is to high.

@LadyDuck this is true I have a friend who own a somthie type Store in the mall. She closing it in july I know rent kind of over$3000us a month

How crowded is your area? We have several malls here(big and small) and this is a small town but most of them started since more than a decade now.

My area kind of farm country But what was once farm land are Now empty IBM buildings. My town only has 1 mall that like 85% empty Of stores.This week the mall got new owners But no know what going on

oh i see. my small town is surrounded with farms as well but i guess we have more population.
