I was thinking about life and routines

And I discovered that I had to have many ailments and many years to be able to stay in bed until I felt I wanted to get up. And I had to live alone to be able to stay up watching a late movie until it ends. There´s something wrong in this picture. We should be able to have time off and holidays when we can use it with no problems. Many years ago, my brother asked my husband why didn´t we have money for wonderful vacations when he had worked hard all his life and had earned a good amount of money. My husband answered to my brother (who had no children) that the cost of each child was the same as the cost of a big house. My husband had common sense and he was right. There are many mylotters here a lot younger than myself. What do you think about this? Is it terrible expensive for you to raise a family?
