Would you like the day to be more than 24 hours?

February 6, 2017 1:50pm CST
I think I am I'm not the only one who should have thought about this possibility, right? There are days in our lives that we have so many things to do that we run against time in every possible way in order to complete all our activities, but we always forget that no matter how much we run, the day will never be more than 24 hours. Anyway, I confess that sometimes I wanted the world to have 48 hours a day.

I knew a very smart person. He once told me that there will never be enough time for all we would like to do and that even if we could have 48 hours in one day we would still most likely ask for more.

That only happens if you cross the International Date Line coming east. I had a 42 hour day that way once when coming back to the states from Guam. Otherwise you're stuck with 24.

I'm not sure that's a good idea. Imagine working for twice as long - that wouldn't be fun.

I guess if I have a lot of due dates to meet, or I am inside a romantic moments that I don't want to end... but without it I would prefer a 24 hours a day... why? Because man! I want to sleep and rest early. Don't you know that I love to sleep.... lol! But true I can't think that I am going to stay up more than 24 hours except when I am enjoying mylot or other sites just right now. Lol! When I am watching Korean drama I wish we have more than 24 hours a day or the night will be long so I can watch a bit more without worrying that any moment my mom will wake up and finding me still watching K-dramas. Lol!

Go metric. 10 seconds in a minute, 10minutes in an hour; 10 hours in a day, 10 days in a week, 10 weeks in a month and 10 months in a year. Decades, centuries and millennia are already metric. Not sure if that helps you squeeze more into your day though...

I don't know how I managed to fit in everything I had to do when I worked. I'm retired now, and still don't have enough time in a day.
