What I Learned From- My Personal Photo Challenge

-I learned that I like to take a lot of simple pictures that try to convey a mood. Mixed in with an occasional snap of a scene or object that just catches my eye and I like it. -All the photos I shared in my challenge were taken with either my Ipod Touch or a Nikon CoolPix L100 camera. Both are very basic digital cameras. -I enjoyed doing the challenge and saw that I have improved some in the areas of fixing the colors a little, or what I could with them being JPG format. And cropping certain parts of a couple of pictures that bothered me. -I have decided to post maybe three of the photos to my Instagram account. -Lately, i've been into a form of miniature photography involving Lego figures, (I even got a few posted on Instagram) so I may be doing that a little more next. -I've got a lot of things I still need to understand and work on, but a major item on my list is buying me a proper camera. I use very basic digital cameras to take my photos and then I play a bit with graphic programs to enhance the colors or remove unwanted objects. Your photos look good.

@Plethos GIMP is an excellent program and you can do with it almost everything you can do with very expensive programs.

@Plethos I do a lot of cropping. And straightening. I love being able to edit my photos. But I did get a film camera for Christmas and it's really weird having to take more care over what I choose to snap at. I'm so wary of actually getting the film developed!

i dont really like to crop, but sometimes it just works to edit out something along the edges entirely instead of just coloring over it. or the less empty space around the edges is better. or a square crop is better. lots of decisions at times ! ! !
