Lot's to chose from. Never been and probably never will. Too spendy for us unless we won a contest and that was the prize.

@dfollin ......We don't eat well the second half of most months. I can't see us making any payments for Disneyland.

I always stay at the value resorts because I'm not usually at the resort, but at the parks. My favorite though is the Art of Animation because the pool is the nicest. I do try to get to the pool on every visit. Only once did I stay at a moderate resort. A group of us stayed at the Port Orleans, Riverside. It was very nice too. One thing is you need to bring your own coffee pot, unbelievably they do not provide coffee in the rooms. (although the Art of Animation did back when I was there in 2012, perhaps not now) For Florida residents the prices are a little better.

We have only been there once and because of low funds we went to a Value Resort the All Star Sports. This was in July 2012. Art of Animation wasn't built till shortly after that. Ever since the day we left there I have dreampt every day about going back. I would love to be a Florida resident. My daughter at the time was 15 at the time and she made a great point, why pay for a more higher priced resort, when we are in the parks most of the time anyway. This will give us more spending money Great point We did tour the Jambo resort and it would be great to stay at if it was affordable for us I never had time to go to the pool, we were busy checking out the parks! I cannot swim anyway, so.......... Glad you have got to experience the magic of Disney!!!

@Jeanniemaries Good for you! I wish I could afford to get one. Then pay for the transportation to get there.

There are many places to stay, that's for sure. Some of really expensive and out of reach for many here.

Yes, those are just in Disney World, there are many hotels and rooms to rent outside of the property. Some people can find a way to do it, but I do totally understand because I am one of those people that is here and cannot afford it. However I did discuss a little about Disney World previously and I had two people that wanted me to post more. There are many things that I cannot afford but I still like to read about them and watch movies, documentorys and videos about them.

Disney World is much larger. Disneyland has 3 on property resorts and some off property hotels that work with them for guests.
