I am driving a car that I have used for more than 5 years. And yes, it is a bit challenging to maintain. I am having issues with the cables and some of the major parts and having problems as well. I worked with my father in fixing the fan motor to avoid over heating. I was not able to use the car for a week until now. I believe that it will be more easier or convenient in my part to just sell it. But the thing is, it will cost a lot more to buy a new one. In the country that I live in, the cost of a brand new car is just so high. What are your thoughts?

My car is 19 years old and it works just fine :) If you can fix it properly it will work for years again but it can be expensive. Brand new cars are more expensive though

Wow. 19 years is a long time. What kind of car do you drive? I used to own a bike that I had for 15 years. It is working great but when you do not use it for a week, a problems pops up. I had two bikes that time and it is a bit challenging to use a different bike every other day that is why the older bike is just at the garage not running for a week. I sold it. It had a hard time keeping up with the repairs and the cost.

I say keep the car if the car is not giving you problems.

@sabtraversa I believe experts would say just to invest for a new one. Being stuck in a place is one thing and being late for an appointment is another.
