Wired or wireless computer mouse?

I always want to use a wireless mouse since it is cleaner to look at. It will make your work space look better. The issue that I had with a wireless mouse is when you ran out of juice. It is okay if you have a back up battery but it none, that is going to be an issue. What type of mouse do you use?

My mouse takes one small battery. We buy rechargeable batteries now and always have at least two or three spares. I find I change the mouse battery quite often.

Spare batteries really are a life saver. It is always good to have a few around.

I prefer it with wire because my laptop is kinda old. But my sister has a wireless mouse and I think they work the same though you are right the table looks messier with wires. Lol! God bless.

Yes. With the functionality, I do not see any difference. Maybe you will appreciate it more if you have a small work place. If you have lots of space, then the wired mouse will be okay. I even think that it is more reliable since it is directly connected to your computer.

You must remember to switch it off, it runs out of battery, it can fall and break down... I like the wired one more, the real mouse with the tail.

Wireless can't really beat the reliability of the wired mouse. Maybe it has been a big issue for me since I am right handed and the USB port of the laptop I use is so close to the placement of my mouse. Its just a bit disturbing.

@sabtraversa That makes sense. A laptop over a desktop plays a role in seeing the need of a wireless of wired mouse. For laptop users, there is a little need of a mouse for typing. But ir you do video of photo editing or rendering, I think it will be more convenient to do it with a mouse.

@jhaidro The wires have their advantages and disadvantages, true. I mainly use the touchpad on my laptop, as I usually don't place it on a desk or table.

I'm currently using a wired mouse and I have no problem with it. But I might also consider buying a wireless mouse in the future.

You may need to change the brand of the battery. 3 days is a bit too soon for it to ran out of power. Or how about replacing your mouse entirely. I am also looking into different brands to use.

@mohdovi Is the battery that you use a AA or AAA battery? I have had the same issue with my rechargeable batteries. I now prefer disposable batteries.

I use a corded mouse because I have a real important job that if there is an emergency, and the mouse doesn't work then lives could be lost. So have always used a corded mouse when I am at my computer.
