We call it "Lama Saree" in Sinhala. Its the dress kids wear for Dhamma School... Its a traditional Srilankan dress made with two parts.(jacket and the skirt)
Tomorrow is "Nawam Full moon poya day". Its a public, bank and merchantile holiday for Srilanka. Therefore in my daughters school they have arranged percept programme.
For that Im gonna make a new half saree for her. She already have one, but I decided to sew new one this time. It will take about 2-3 hours to finish. So I wont be able to sleep today, I have send her to school at 7am....
Happy mylotting....

You have such beautiful clothing in your country. I have always admired the way that you can wear a sari so beautifully draped and cover up everything and yet it is much more attractive than the women in my country that show everything they possibly can. ( And you are wise not to post a picture of your daughter. My granddaughter is beautiful but I won't expose her on the internet, it's not safe.)
