I woke up with a siren.

I took a late nap today. And I woke up to see that Jane Eyre was just starting on TV. Jane Eyre was one of the most beloved books of my childhood. And this was another movie than the one I had seen I think at Netflix. I hadn´t liked theat one at all, but this one looked a lot better. And just when the romance between Jane and Mr. Rochester was in full bloom, the light went out for a minute and then the alarrm started to howl. I had alarm, but not anymore. I decided not to pay for it as the bad guy will enter with or without it. But the people from the alarm never took off the cables and every time the electricity has a problem I hear an exasperating small sound from the system. Today it was not just a small moise; you could hear it in blocks. I called me neighbors who are lovely. I tild Miguel to "kill" it forever and he obligued. He took out the cables, the noise stopped and then he went to his house to get the proper insulating tape. Jane Eyre, of course, had ended.

Oh what a shame you missed the end of the film. I wonder what set off the alarm.

It was terrible. And the last time that happened years ago when I wasn´t home, someone threw a stone to shut the alarm and broke a window.
