Well, he didn't catch the bus. His mom was trying to get him up from 5:15a. on. He finally got up about 6:03a. At 6:19a. he finally trudges outside. He's supposed to be out there by no later than 6:13a. Bus come between 6:13a. and 6:18a.He's mad that the bus driver doesn't just set out there and wait for him. What an attitude. As far as I am concerned that is a loser attitude and I told him so. He really makes me angry. Here he had nice new clothes to wear and only one more day until the weekend. Pretty pathetic I think. I told him I was very disappointed in him.
Last night he made out like a bandit at Target. He got three t-shirts, a pair of pants, a pair of shorts, new tennis shoes, a hooded jacket, and a hat. They were all out of coats which he really needed. It was sure nice of Target to do this.

Oh dear it is so hard there Celtic. I dont blame you for what you said. Although we know better, there is limit to our patience.
Nice of Target to give Josh those clothes and all.

He has no excuse for not getting out there. His mom wakes him in plenty of time. Yeah, I don't know what the Target program was all about but it sure was nice. He looked so nice in his new outfit.

Hopefully he can learn to be more responsible about catching the bus.

I'm sorry he didn't make it, especially that close. Sad lesson there, the world will expect him to be on time, people wont just wait on him and give him things when he does things like that.

We have discussed this very thing until I am nearly blue in the face.

I wonder if customers donate money to target so they can make this available? How old is this grandson again? Maybe he needs to go to bed earlier if he can't get up on time. Especially since no one there has a car.
I don't think I'd call him a loser, but lazy would fit the bill maybe. It you told him it's a loser attitude, that's better than just calling him loser.

@celticeagle 14 is pretty old to not have the time figured out yet on when to get up for the day. I think by then we were getting ourselves up without our parent's help in that regard. On the other hand, I'm the oldest of six kids. I'm sure several would have been prodding the sleepy head.
I was one that never wanted to get up, but I never missed the bus, Had I done so, I'd have had to walk to school and it was at least four miles away.

I think he's just being spoiled, not looser. Maybe he needs motivation or something. He thinks life is too easy

Yeah, I knew better when I said it. My mistake. He thinks he can do as he pleases and do as he is asked. It can be very frustrating.
