What Does the Devil do all Day?

"Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour" _1 Peter 5:8
He tries to steal the soul of people.
In most faith-based belief systems (religion,superstitions,mythology) there is always a shadowy figure who personify evil. He has many names, The Devil, Lucifer, prince of darkness, the evil one, old nick, Donald Trump (kidding)
I read that 70% of Americans believe the Devil is a real person (figure)
But when those believers where ask a follow up question, "Does he influence you or your friends?" 95% said,"No".
Perhaps this has something to do with the belief of "Free will". That it is up to us to choose between good and evil.
Turns out the Devil is not the red face horned figure of mythology. He may actually be wearing Prada, that sweet voice of temptation. If you keep knocking on his door, eventually he'll invite you in.
If that is true then is one to assume that the Devil just hang around all day with nothing to do? He must be bored out of his mind.
What is your personal belief about the "Devil"?
Does he exist?

@LadyDuck _I think he is able to squeeze some time for governance between his twitting. People may believe he's crazy but I don't think he is stupid. It's all part of a grand plan to lower the standard of what people expect a president can accomplish. Then any future incompetence on his part would have people just shrugging it off as another one of Donald's folly.

@SIMPLYD _ It's one thing to want to improve our lives by being able to afford the material things that make life easier. It's ok as long as we get them through our own effort but when we obtain them through illegal means then the "devil" has us in his pocket.

Bible says he is very handsome for her is also a creation of God.
But the real thing Satan is really hiding the fact that he exist so many will also believe that God did not exist. Because if Satan reveal himself he is one true living proof that there is a living God out there in heaven genome who created him and the one he rebelled. God bless.

@BelleStarr _I'm not religious. We should not put the blame on an imaginary figure for the evil that men do to each other.

the devil exists, i believe in us. a part of us is a devil. when we give in to temptations, we are evil. when we do something bad, we personify the devil.
but i believe too, that we have an angel in us. when we don't get tempted, when we do good to others, the angel in us is acting up.

@josie_ angels and devils are invisible and they assume the form of spirits-they have no corporal image. that is what i learned in our Religion and Theology subjects. i also believe that each one of us has a guardian angel, but i also think an evil lurks. it is in our free will if we let the good in, or let the devil in.
i am in a quandary if angels or devils are emotions suppressed or repressed.

@ridingbet _Many believe that real angels and devils exist but not in human form which our five sense could detect. A lot of videos and photos allegedly capturing these images but hard to verify can be found in the internet. Could there be some truth in them or are they just manifestation of repress emotions in our psyche?

Yes, maybe. Maybe the devil roams around as human an influences people. Takes a weak soul and uses it as its own, then influences more.

I believe in the Devil and I think he comes to you as your desire and tries to suck you in anyway that he can.. and no I don't think he is board at all having to much fun playing with are minds.
