Saturday Morning Chores

We have plans today. Nothing fun but a few last minute chores that have to be done for the housing inspection on the 16th. I am letting Cami sleep in as late as she can. Sometimes it is hard for her to get to sleep at night if Josh has been troublesome that evening. She gets so stressed out sometimes. So am trying to keep things quiet so she can sleep. Saturday morning you'd think a person could sleep in a little when they have to get their kid up at the crack of dawn. 5a. when folks are on meds is not much fun. And he is hard to wake up. Cranky, grumpy and then demanding. Put off getting up until the last possible minute. So, hopefully, she can sleep in a while. He has been quiet so far. Fingers are crossed.
So at the designated time I will wake her up, if she isn't already, and we will have something to eat. Then get the bathroom and kitchen cleaned. It all should be shining by early afternoon. We are doing some deep cleaning that we haven't done for a while.
Then we are ordering a pizza since they like those so much. Me, I will order a hot sandwich of some kind. I'm not really into pizza or pasta. We usually watch Svengoolie in the evening but it is about Godzilla this time so I doubt we will watch it.
Are you getting some things done today too?

I had to work, then we had a meeting out of town, which was a fun one at least, but no didnt get much done, today I am trying to catch up laundry, while being depressed, blah

Laundry is depressing anyway. I am glad to have the bathroom cleaned. It has needed it for a couple weeks now.

@Jessicalynnt .....That is what Cami and I did this weekend. She did the shower and the floors and I did the toilet, mirror and sink. So nice to have it clean again.When we are stressed and depressed it tends to not get done. We have a housing inspection on the 16th.

@celticeagle I got the toilet done, but that was it, need to do the shower and wipe down the shower curtain, then sweep and mop the floors, and take care of the mirror and sink

Waiting for 2 pm so my husband can install then new faucets - counters had to 'cure' 24 hours.....have fun cleaning.

@celticeagle Pump is excellent!!! Hot water at kitchen sink in 3-4 seconds compared to minutes!

Have given the washing machine a self clean up seems to have done most of the trick. But I think it still needs another bottle of that stuff that I don´t care much for.
Nice to see you having a quiet day fingers crossed for you and that you have a nice lunch too.

Glad you are getting a bit of peace right now though, know how that is.
I am still feeling poorly, so I am not doing much of anything yet today.
Mom called me though so that eases my mind a bit.

Thanks. I hope it goes as planned too. I am not even bothering her until the alotted time. She is a master procrastinator though so I hope I am not disappointed. She knows it has to be done. Sorry you are not in the pink today. Glad you heard from you mom.
