Why do people go to nightclubs? whats the point?

these days, women are wearing too much makeup, wearing dresses, heels, large amounts of jewerly(big rings). while men hold a bottle or can of beer, wear tight aeropostle shirts, cowboy hat, have tattoo on their airs, play loud music while they drive(either a fast car, or big pickup-depending on where they live). and they go to nightclubs every weekend. for what? to dance to techno music, drink a boring can of beer or ugly fruity cocktail? play beer pong? why do they do that? why not go to a movie or watch a sporting event on TV?

Sometimes its nice to go out dancing and meet new people. For someone like me, sporting events could be a real dull. I don't go clubbing all the time or get drunk. And not all night clubs are bad.

It is all in what you prefer. Some people love the club scene and othershe prefer a quiet evening at home.
