There is this lady who speaks on this Ad that appears on my tv channel. This is how she speaks"
"They kin now drink cole coffee and cole tea."
What she means is "They can now drink cold coffee and cold tea"
I wonder if she is asked to type whether she would do it the way she pronounces.
You know what I mean. Native speakers have this problem. She is a native speaker.
I have seen that here too.
Relax. No issues. We understand.
Do you articulate correctly?

I think southerners in the US are the world's worst. We say, "If ya' oun'ta figgerit out, why don't cha git one?"

@1creekgirl I totally understand the problem native speakers face as they first learn the language phonetically.

@allknowing It meant, "If you want to figgure it out, why don't you get one?" As in If there's something you are interested in having or learning, why not explore it further?

They cannot believe you can speak clearly. We Indians have been trained to both write and speak clearly.

@jstory07 But that is against rules. You can report At the same time if it is pointed out kindly it should be considered as a favour someone is doing to that person.

i have my niece in Australia and her kids have the Australian accent. The 'A's for example are pronounced differently. It took me a while to follow what they were saying (lol)

@allknowing It is hard to pinpoint how some accents are the way they are. We watched a Scottish film once and were reduced to reading the subtitles because their accents were so strong.

Depends on the school where you learnt the language. Also the exposure one has

I spell correctly most of the time. If I spell wrong then it was deliberate. For ex: "I iz ready" Pronunciation though confuses me sometimes after having listened to so may accents lol
