Volleyball cancelled

Tonight was supposed to be my volleyball night, and my son's basketball practice as well. But both are now cancelled because we're expecting a big storm that hasn't come yet.
I know my older son is angry that his rehearsal for musical was cancelled.. the rehearsal would have been over with by now and we still have no snow.
The snow was supposed to start at 4pm, and we are supposed to get quite a bit, but at the moment everything is still clear.
So we'll be home tonight doing not much of anything.
There will be no volleyball next week either as the kids have their winter break, and since we use the school gym for volleyball they can't do it when the kids are off..
Ugh, 2 weeks of no exercise, I'm going to get fat!!

@KristenH I don't like sports apps much.. I prefer puzzle games. At least my mind gets some exercise!

We never ended up getting that storm until the next day. Now the temps are in the 50's, go figure!

@katsmeow1213 I went out this morning to get the paper in the driveway and it was very warm, I went in my bathrobe and sandals...Felt like a cool summer morning...

You won't get fat. I'm sorry everything was cancelled. It's better to be safe than get caught in it and get into an accident.

We didn't end up getting our storm until really late at night, and then it wasn't much of a storm anyway.

It's a hard call what to do when the weather forecasts are out . . . I suppose it'd just easier for them to cancel rather than wait to see what happens. I had a friend who was upset that her tennis match was not being canceled - and it was pouring rain (but she texted back - they canceled almost last minute which is frustrating too).
When I can't go on my walks outdoors (like now as it's wet out) and I'm done with the errands, I just put on some of my favorite music videos on YouTube and just dance around in the livingroom. Not the same, but I get my heart going - something better than nothing I guess

I used to love to dance around.. but now there's too many kids and animals that get in my way, LOL! I still do it sometimes, but then I just end up cleaning something while I'm dancing.. ugh! LOL

We are used to snow and we have a lot of it already.. but the roads are clear. The storm still has not come yet..

I love volleyball. Would love to find a league in which to play. i had a concussion and had to miss about 10 days of exercise. And this came AFTER about 9 days of being sick from a gallbladder attack. Now, back exercising, but in a month, i'm having surgery and will have to miss AGAIN. ugh. i'll never lose weight

It really stinks when you get into a workout groove and have to take time off.. then it's hard to get back into the groove you were once in.

I know what you mean. When bad weather comes to Lake Charles the school sports shows are closed due to safety of the students.

I'm fine with things being cancelled for the kids.. unfortunately when anything school related is cancelled they have to cancel volleyball too as it's at the school.
