Do you have a basement or attic in your home?

Here at home we have only a basement (which is next to the garage, so everything is more practical 
). My mother thinks it doesn't have much validity. But my father and I disagree with her. 
The house is first floor but we don't have an attic (it would just be another room to be cleaned

When I was growing up we had a basement in our home and I think we had an attic. I believe it was covered up. I do not remember. It has been so long ago. I know we had a basement and a garage for the car. Here I live in an apartment so no attic or basement.

We have a very old house. We don't have a basement but a cellar just for storing things. We have an attic which is just at the top of the house but cannot be made into a room and is hard to crawl up to.

Many houses in Australia are single storey and not many have basements or attics. Our ceiling space is big enough to walk around in and we always intended to put flooring up there but we've never bothered.

We don't have either, wouldn't want them either I don't think.
