Frasier

One of my all time favorite TV series was “Frasier” which began its run on TV on September 16, 1993. It was great to see Kelsey Grammar reprise his role of Frasier Crane from the super TV hit “Cheers” which ended after 11 series and won multiple Emmys. The show begins when Frasier Crane relocates from Boston, Massachusetts to Seattle, Washington. We are introduced to a group of wonderful actors John Mahoney playing Frasier’s dad Martin, his younger brother Niles portrayed by David Hyde Pierce, his father’s caretaker Daphne Moon by Jane Leeves, his radio show producer, Roz Doyle by Peri Gilpin and his father’s dog Eddie. What intrigued me about the show most was Frasier’s day to day antics, his brothers problems and consequent romantic interest in Daphne but most of all I was madly in love with Eddie. For all Frasier fans I can tell you that there is a site known as putlockers that offer all of the episodes. I have seen them all and am now enjoying watching them one more time. There is just something about this show that I really enjoy and they have some of the finest quotes on there as well. It was a sad day when the show finally ended in 2004. Leaving you with a wonderfully funny quote by Niles – "Hello! This is Dr. Niles Crane again and no, we haven't taken leave of our senses. That bit of inspired lunacy you heard just before the commercial was just a little docudrama Frasier and I put together on the dangers of over-medication. Bravo, Frasier, for so brilliantly demonstrating why they call it dope!" How many fans of Frasier are out there?
On this day in History, Frasier debuts on Sep 16, 1993. Learn more about what happened today on History.

@JudyEv I absolutely love watching Keeping Up Appearances have you seen that? That is British and very good humor.

@RasmaSandra That's true and to be honest we always leaned more towards British humour rather than American.

I totally dig Frasier, as this show, like big bang theory never gets old. So hard to pick my favorite episode though, what's yours?
