A few years ago my former boss launched an awesome campaign for the library titled: Geek the library, What do you geek? The word geek has been changed to a verb, so it got me thinking, what do I personally geek? I geek rock and alternative music I geek The X Files (David Duchovny total sex on a stick nuff said) I geek reading I geek my kids I geek the color purple I geek most new technology I geek hummus I geek long walks I geek writing I geek sitting in my truck, in the middle of nowhere, at night looking up at the stars I geek Green Day (Billie Joe Armstrong, another sex on a stick, but I love the music too) I geek libraries I geek The Big Bang Theory (the tv show) But most of all, I geek geeks! Feel free to comment and add what you personally geek, I'd sure as hell love to hear it!

I saw stickers like this before it must have been a movement across the name for the library to promote this slogan.

I geek a lot of the same things as you do! I geek birds and sci-fi conventions, prog rock and poetry. I geek cult TV. I like the sound of sitting in your truck looking up at the stars, I geek star gazing too. Sometimes the sight of the stars really freaks me out, makes me think of the bigger picture.

I agree, ive often done a lot of pondering looking at the stars, there seem to be a lot of people geek in the Sci fi conventions, so it's pretty sweet!

Wow! I never thought that word will sound cool when it turns to verb. Now it can be insulting to some geeks who love to study and read books that seems from the outer space. I geek reading, watching Korean dramas and eating.

@librarygeek1980 Better it was a herb and I could add it to a meal for more flavour. Actually, what's the difference between a geek and a nerd? I've often wondered.

good list - I geek a lot of SF/fantasy and horror which puts me in touch with lots of lovely geeks - I think there is a misprint in the Bible -- it's the geek shall inherit the Earth, not the meek lol

@librarygeek1980 Me too, I think Big Bang Theory (which I love) and the rise of Comic-con and Cosplay has made us cool to the masses now
