What In The World Is THAT?

By now, you probably know that I enjoy sharing words with you, that I find interesting. Well, here’s a new word that will have you wondering! Actually its two words: “sphenopalatine ganglioneuralgia.” What in the world is that, you may wonder? And think about this! You may actually have experienced it! I know I have. Well, the “common name” for it is “brain freeze.” Supposedly the term “brain freeze” was invented by 7-Eleven for the PAIN that happens when you drink a Slurpee too fast. So the medical community gave it a medical name. Have you ever suffered from “brain freeze,” from drinking or eating something cold too quickly?

That's a very long name for 'brain freeze' isn't it? And much more difficult to say.
