I went over to Facebook this afternoon and re-introduced myself on a couple of pen pal sites that I belong to.
Soon after I got several responses, most of whom I had to request that they write first, since I already had three (maybe four? I have to recount) letters to write.
I finished one letter tonight, made two friendship books, and put them in with the letter. :)
Of course, I won't be able to send the letter out until Tuesday due to the President's day holiday, but hopefully I'll have at least one other letter finished by then...

? Not sure what you mean.Writing to pen pals is just that. Writing letters. ;)

@xstitcher You mentioned friendship books so I thought perhaps you send other things to each other as well.

@JudyEv Oh! *smacks head*. Yes, sorry. ;p Yes, I do send other things -- friendship books being one of them. A friendship book as a blank paged book made for someone whose address is on the book, and passed around with pen pals. The last pen pal to put their address to in the book (usually last because the book is then full) sends the book back to the person who it was made for.

People actually still do Friendship books? I used to belong to groups and do that yrs ago. It was fun until it became expensive.

To the best of my knowledge they do. It became expensive? You mean the postage, or...?
