I'm looking for opinions, as members know my area normally is noted for a lot of sun. You can see what it looks like and read more about it at smartflowersolar. com. Some of the things it says 40% more efficient than the roof top panels and low maintenance. We didn't get solar panels because the Solar Christmas Lights didn't work. My neighbor on my left side has panels and they told me its working for their house. I'm concerned whether they would save money or just end up being costly and take up a lot of space.

Solar Panels can be very worthwhile, but the benefits depend on the cost of the panels and installation.

I am considering this option to charge my future car, as am looking at a Toyota Prius. It runs on gas or electric. Right now, I'm in the compare different features, as discovered 3 models that have some differences including price and number of features. I haven't ruled out other hybrid cars and will be looking at several additional cars. The reason the Toyota Prius is at the top of the list is I have looked at the car in the showroom.

@Fishmomma Does this model store electricity, otherwise it would be useless outside of daylight hours.

@Asylum Yes stores electricity. I just don't know enough from the web site to determine whether the information on the web site is accurate. I hope there are members that make recommendations.

I was watching a vdo on smart flower solar few days back.. looked pretty good to me and the idea is also brilliant. It will definitely give you more power comparing to the normal solar panel as this thing can move its panel to the direction of sun.. but I dont have any idea how much cost effective it would be..

I watched the video and was impressed to see the panel move. My house is facing the wrong direction and think that is why my Solar Christmas Lights don't work. I will keep hunting for information, as hope to find somebody that has it set up.
