I just went onto YouTube actually preparing to look for something else, but instead saw a show that was an interview of one of my absolute favorites....... Barry Gibb!
In the interview, he talked about his childhood, start in music, his brother's and parents. He talked about music, the falsetto voice, song writing. His wife, Linda
his children and grandchildren.
He mentions that he has a sister Leslie, but there is never any mention about why she is not into music
This is a great video

I watched the interview before and really enjoyed it. I heard that their sister Lesley use to sing with them in their younger years but she turned down stardom. She didn't want to be part of the group once they began known. I have always liked the Bee Gees.

That was such a fun interview. On top of being a great singer, songwriter, brother, husband, father, grandfather, son and being very handsome he is so funny!
I still listen to the Bee Gees and am now as I am typing.
I would love to hear his sister sing.

@Happy2BeMe I know after I read your reply I looked them up. I cannot hear her voice in any of them. And saw only still shots of her except for the one where she was congratulating her brothers. She was a pretty girl!

There was a Rolling Stone interview with him a few years ago, fascinating, but he got pretty depressed when talking about being the last brother alive

I adored the Bee Gees. They were one of my favorites in the 70's. Barry has an amazing voice too. Sad to have lost his brothers.

Hard to believe he is sole surviving brother with Maurice, Robin and Andy gone.

I know and he cannot appear he can believe it either.! I was looking and found that their father ,Andy, Maurice and Robin all passed away at the age of 66 or younger. Mrs Gibb passed away at the age of 95 and Barry and Lesley are over 70. Maybe they will take after their mother and live a long time.

I think there were many back in the day that liked him and his music, and might have had a crush on him.

Yes it sure is! A lot of times when I think of a show, a song or a person I research them on a search engine and I also look at videos on YouTube and subscribe. That is where I saw this interview because I subscribed to YouTube videos about Barry Gibb!

That does sound a great interview. I'll try to find time to watch it later.

And Barry is a really good person too
