Years ago China gave the USA panda bears to mate. Thru the years some of the panda cubs did not survive My favorite animal is a panda bear and I have been to the Smithsonian Washington National Zoo to see some of them. But during the past years I have not been able to get there and for whatever reason when I was able to get there the panda house was closed to visitors. Four years ago a panda bear cub, named Bao Bao did survive. How ever the deal made with China was when any of the cubs turns four then they are to be sent to China to be their new home. The zoo has been very crowded for the past week with other panda bear fans saying good bye to Bao Bao. She leaves for China tomorrow morning. We will miss you!

Oh... Although it shall be a happy thing that the panda will go to its homeland. But somewhat many Americans like it. I feel touched to see that panda fans have to say good bye to Bao Bao. I hope our government will consider to giving several pandas to USA again. It is a friendship symbol and I hope this adorable will be seen by more people.

China is actually Bao Bao's ancestors home. She was born and has lived for four years in Washington DC. Her younger brother is here still But I do hope that they do send more panda's here. Bao Bao's brother will need a mate soon to make new cubs.

@dfollin I also hope Bao Bao's brother needs a mate and then they will have more cubs in your country. I believe Americans will adore them and take good care of them

Hope she is happy in China. I have never seen a panda in real life.
