Red Roses with Love

Next up are imitation red roses with plastic stems. These roses were for my mom. One year we were discussing her birthday and she saw a dozen of these roses in a catalogue. My mom loved all kinds of cut flowers with carnations in various colors being her favorite. Since we always lived in an apartment it was the only way she could enjoy flowers all year round. So whenever I could I would purchase some flowers for her and of course on holidays and on her birthday. Well one year she saw a picture of these roses and they looked so real to her she said that she would love having them. So that after her birthday she would still have the roses. I agreed and sent away for a dozen. Mom enjoyed them taking care to dust them and I have had them ever since. Do you have or have you ever had any fake flowers at home?
