Looking like Lupa for my birthday dinner

My husband and I are going to go into Manhattan next month for my birthday dinner. I checked out a bunch of Mario Batali's restaurant menus and Lupa's looked the most delicious to me. It is done in the style of a Roman trattoria. I posted on Chowhound asking for feedback on the restaurant and it has gotten nothing but glowing reviews, so I think that is where we are going to go. I'm excited! Where I live here at the Jersey Shore, I can usually cook equal to or better than anything that I'd get out at a restaurant. I definitely can't compete with a Batali place, though! This will be like when we went to Vegas a few years ago and we ate at the fancy places there. It was GREAT!

It is one of Mario Batali's restaurants in NYC. Supposed to be like a Roman trattoria. Menu looks really good.
Lupa is a Roman trattoria south of New York’s Washington Square Park. Lupa is owned and operated by Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich.
