A MUST IN MY BED.

What is that one thing that you must have next to you when you go to bed at night? - something that you just can't sleep without - it is a necessity.
If I happen to forget it , in the middle of the night I would jump out of bed to get it. I am talking about my cellphone - I can't sleep without it. Oh yes, I know what they say - it is not healthy to sleep with a phone in your bed - but mine is placed away from my body .
I feel safe knowing it is within arm's reach and I can make an urgent call if necessary . It is a smart phone so if I am not quite ready to fall asleep, I can chat for a while, listen to music or watch a movie. What would you say is a must have in your bed at night ? - or is it just you and your pillows.

Me too just me and husband. 
Baby right beside us in her crib.
Nothing specific whilst sleeping. Cell phone will be left in the living room.

@creativedesigner Well, I sleep alone, so it stays with me - maybe if there was someone else in my bed - it won't be there.

I need a glass filled with water, a toilet paper that I use as kleenex at night and my cellphone.

Many people like to have a phone near just in case. We never know when someone will need us in the middle of the night.

@Kandae11 Actually, I did have one in the bed with me but the cats kept knocking it off the bed. Jealousy I assume.

@Kandae11 Even though I have room-darkening blinds, when the sun comes up, the light wakes me unless I have on my sleep mask.

My cellphone too. I have a hard time sleeping so I check Facebook and myLot, and play a bit of Cooking Dash first.

I have to have my fan on and by my bed.. my phone is by my bed as well because that is what I use for my alarm.

I still fon't have a cell phone so its just me and my pillow. My daughter is getting me a cell phone now because I think in an emergency its the right thing to have.
