Meatloaf for Dinner

Yep, that's what we are about to have!
I am a fan of meat loaf on occasion, it usually goes over well for most children too. Though there are some who won't touch the stuff.
There will be some chopped veggies in this one and I know that is not a favorite for children. I've seen them turn it down even without it. This baffles me because they will eat hamburger up real quick.
I am not sure what the side dish will be with it. We had potatoes the night before last. Maybe it will be a side salad.
What do you think of meatloaf and what side do you like with it?

I love meatloaf with ketchup along with masked potatoes and peas and carrots. I also love onions in mine, but my son, he won't even eat a hamburger. The only time he will eat ground beef is when mixed with a sauce, like spaghetti or tacos.

Ketchup is okay on occasion, I am not a big fan of the stuff. I love tacos and spaghetti too though. 
My nieces will eat those two any time, no questions.

@jhechorain Same here, I only eat ketchup on meatloaf and crinkle cut fires (never show string fries).

I always have it on a fried egg sandwich but that is the only food I can think that I will have it consistently.

I love meatloaf! But my kids don't care for it much . . . my daughter loves burgers though (it's much plainer than meatloaf) and my little son doesn't really care for either. We usually do mashed potatoes with it . . . or even toasted french bread or sourdough with butter!

I guess it is one of those foods that is hit or miss with children. French bread with butter or sourdough would have been good with our salad too.

Well, for me, it depends on how it is made as a lot of people make theirs way too dry. But my sister who now owns and runs a restaurant hers is to Die for. Not sure how she makes it, but it is good.

@jhechorain My mother used to out vegetables in it and hers was delicious. One of two foods she could cook well that and pecan pie.

I really enjoy meatloaf. I haven't had it in year though. I like having it with mashed potatoes.

I love meatloaf and I serve it with mashed potatoes and sometimes stewed tomatoes.
