You are using too much help when you have people doing things for you which you could have done yourself.

When you cannot be help yourself, if you take help from someone, it should be defined quantum wise and schedule for repayment should also be fixed.

Everybody needs helping hand at some point in their lives. As long as you are trying to help yourself while others are helping you, I don't see a problem. As well if your are trying to help yourself, the ones helping won't fee used.

I really don't ask for too much help, so I feel like a user every time someone helps me, especially if it's not a close friend or family member. I feel less so when it's someone I've done a lot for and I feel like they are just returning the favor. But, generally, I don't ask for help unless I really need it and I try to pay them for it with either money, a nice meal, or a returned favor.
