I sold my used plastic bottles out and earned some extra cash. I have got some more space free in my flat and a little extra money. It is OK according to me. The bottles were mineral waters packages. I gather them empty and from time to time sell them at the quarter spot that buys used stuff that is to be recycled.

Wow I would love if we could do that around here. When my late husband and I got together we used to walk all around town and collect cans with the 5 cent deposit on them and take them to the can machines and exchange them for the money. We did really well earning a little extra money that way but the cans would be full of God knowns what it was gross.

@MALUSE Yes, I know it. But there is one more reason that you can hardly see any empty bottles or cans. There are special pallets for them. I saw them - they were locked. And one more: my friend told me that one could sell them in a shop and gets either money or the bill be diminished.
