Best post gets unnoticed...

I am here in mylot for one week.. and I have found that the best post gets unnoticed.. So far the discussions I have posted are moderately responded.. but thing is that what I thought could be my best post so far got unnoticed.. is there any way to make those posts more popular than the ones which are not important? My experience says any posts related to earnings gets most responses.. itdid for me.. but good posts does not get equal responses...

It seems the quick easy posts get the most responses here but to me they are not as fun. I like to read interesting things here not just quick posts because people want to earn a lot of money....which just does not happen here at mylot. Them more you interact here with others...Reading their posts and leaving comments the more your audience will grow and people will read your posts.

That is basically what I would say as well. The longer you are here the more of a following you will get and the more your posts will be discussed. Of course if you figure out something a bit controversial that also might draw responses.

Thanks for your insight.. but things is that I am not at all talking about earnings.. I have seen whatever the posts on earnings (including my post about reaching $1) get more responses than the genuine posts.. I have done this experiment.. and this is what I think.. If I post tomorrow that I reached $2.. I am sure I will get more responses than my short story..

@GardenGerty you are somewhat right.. but it's not about only the followers.. it's about the earnings which people follow most.. As I said I got lot of responses on the post where I said I reached $1.. My followers were even less at that time..

You can honestly think you put up a good post, but someone else may not be interested. It is simply a matter of what people are interested in , and that could be anything. I always hope if I do post something that others might find it interesting, so we can interact.. but if not that is alright, we just keep at it, until a topic is of interest.

It may yet be seen, sometimes it will be browsed later by members. Although it has to do with traffic and if people are looking at the recent post when you are posting.

I see, someone may still view it when you get some followers.

Well.. I am not talking about my very recent posts.. even i hve visited posts from others in the not responded section and found that there are really interesting posts rather than the daily my earning/my morning/my day posts

@jhechorain As I mentioned before in one of the posts that it does not depend on the followers,.. As I got more responses in older posts than the better recent posts.. I may have less followers.. but I got most responses on the earning post Yes.. its probably I would get more responses with more followers.. but still I do not think it's the followers.. yes, you will get more responses on the my morning bath room cleaning posts if you have more followers.. but still your best posts will get unnoticed or un-replied..

I think it depends on the time of the day and if there are a lot of people on.

yes it might be the time.. bbut what I feel as it's a global forum.. and I have seen people from Japan/Australia (East) to US/Canada(West) ... so it should not care about the time ...

It's often not about the post itself but about the person writing it. Someone who has built up a lot rapport with others and has a lot of followers will naturally get more reaction than a newcomer like yourself. The key to this site is interaction - the more you respond to others the more they will get back to you - simple as that. Incidentally I have never made a single post about earnings - I find them boring and something that people should keep to themselves. It can come across as boasting - just my opinion.

@ichchhe_mrityu That is very true - a lot of people follow you and you never see them again. But the fact is that those who are active will see your posts first under the 'their discussions' button. I do it myself - I like to see my friends' posts first, before I go to the 'most recent' list.
