Watching movies in a theatre is not the same if one does not load oneself with coke and popcorn. This craze has been there for many years now.
There seem to be no upgrades as is the case with every other aspect of our life.
Are you also a victim of this or you take your own stuff?
When was the last time you watched a movie in a theatre?

I too have not been for a while now. The last one was in a multiplex and I got mad with the sound. Yes. we did go with our coke and popcorn (lol)

@allknowing A normal film doesn't last longer than two hours. Bollywood dramas are longer, though. Maybe one does need a snack for them.

@MALUSE Now people away from bollywood do makes movies for more than 2 hours . Eg : Peter Jackson etc. Its not the length but content is important. I've seen many outsiders in India who munch on these snacks, be it beverages,popcorn and samosa.

Specially during interval even we used to go for ice cream. Actually I do not like to watch movies in theatres these days. The sound is unbearable.

@allknowing I have eaten popcorn and drank coke in theater years ago.Though some times I do snack on popcorn.I have almost stopped drinking coke.I know that I have gone to theater to watch movies years ago.

@allknowing I love it and make a big Bowl when I sit down to read. Perhaps it's the smell at theaters or one of the first treats sold. Now, you can buy entire meals to eat at some theaters. It's crazy!

I recently went to the theatre but the movie I wanted to watch was not in so I dropped the idea. It depends on my mood and the theatre whether to take my own stuff or buy there. But yeah coke and popcorn are the usuals. Sometimes chips too.

I tried to see a movie a couple of weeks ago - however there was an issue and they couldn't show the movie - they refunded me and gave me a free coupon for a movie
