Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson will be entering the free agent market on March 9, 2017 since the team has refused to pick up his $18 million dollar contract on Tuesday. Vikings general manager Rick Spielman has gone on record saying that Peterson could return to the Vikings if he does not find another football team in the National Football League that is willing to pay him the salary he is seeking. The Vikings would accept Peterson returning to the team if he accepts a smaller salary based on his body of work in the last few years. Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has expressed his desire to acquire Peterson to join his football team to be the running back partner to Elliot Ezekiel since Peterson has mentioned in the past he would like to play football in his home state of Texas. In a perfect world Peterson would love to retire as a Minnesota Viking but time will tell which team he will play for in 2017.

How old is Peterson? Seems like he's been around a long long time.

That would be a nice pick up for Dallas. But I am wondering if the Seahawks are considering wanting to pick him up as it would be a Great addition for us as well.
