Watching them slurp makes my day

It is around 6 am here. My guests wait at the kitchen door. I am not sure when they arrive there. But when I open the door there they are. I enjoy this little task of feeding these hungry souls and to watch them slurp away the milk, makes my day. The little one has started circling round my legs an indication that she loves me. I quite like that Do you feed strays?

I have 3 stray cats (a mother and two kittens) who decided to become permanent residents. Except for the occasional playful chasing, my dogs have accepted these "squatters".

@allknowing there are actually milk for cats and dogs. I read somewhere about milk that we drink contains lactose, which actually can hurt their stomach. So I switch to that milk.

What do you feed them with. I am told milk is not good but so far I have fed all the cats that visit us and they are doing fine.

@allknowing _They are given the same table scraps my dogs eat. I have an arrangement with a restaurant worker to provide my dog food.

No strays around here...but milk actually isn't good for cats..you should feed them cat food instead..maybe a little slurp of milk here and there..but honestly..it is hard for them to digest.

@snowy22315 We have had a cat that lived for several years and she was getting milk. The milk that we get here is light.

We don't have any strays, and I'm pleased about that as the next door's cat makes enough mess in my garden as it is.

Both these cats are decent. I have never seen them messing around.

It depends on what kind of stray - if it is harmless I might.

I feed strays and I brought some home. I have cats but I never buy one. They are originally strays. I pick up strays, nurse them back to health and give them a home. Now they are part of my family.

We don't get strays here but yes, I'd be happy to feed them.
