The Sound of Music: On this day / myLot

Sometimes I like to visit the history and use to check the important and interesting events happened on this day. I was doing the same today and I found the movie, named The Sound Of Music was released today in 1965. I watched this movie few years back. I liked the movie as well as the songs. Later I found out it was based on true events. How many of you have watched this movie? By the way, there is an Indian movie inspired by this movie which I watched in my childhood, off course I did not know then that movie was inspired by this one.

I don't like musicals too much but I really enjoyed "The sound of music."

It is nice to look back to see what was happening years ago. The Sound of Music was very, very popular. It's interesting that it inspired an Indian movie.
