Bulgarian Independence Day (March 3rd) was strongly accepted by the Bulgarian Community in Chicago (USA). They passionately celebrate this great Bulgarian Day every year. There are reflections of it on their local Bulgarian TV. Bulgarian flag blows in front of the mayor’s building in Chicago on this day. Bulgarian Liberation is definitely featured in Chicago.

Meetings, national hymn, national patriotic songs, exhibitions, open museums, great fireworks, soldiers traditions and marches, Orthodox messa, unknown historical docs: personal stories and photos, flowers at the monuments, going to the monuments, reflections of the day in media.
