I really feel for the team who lost another game, so 6th in a row. Now we see the Buss Family in the news again, as the Buss Children are fighting over control of the Los Angeles Lakers. On May 15th, the court will figure out who is in control, as the father wanted the daughter in control and her brothers are fighting that decision by their Dad. Who do you think should be in control?

It was Jim Buss' horrible decisions running the team that led to the Lakers' current state.

That is what my friends are saying, as they are life time Californians. I have recently started learning about the family. Sounds like Dad had a lot of wins and felt the daughter would be able to keep the wins coming, but all I see on the news is a lot of fighting in the family.

@JohnRoberts Wow, I don't go to bars, but should stop into Applebees during a game and would hear what is wrong. I sure hear a lot about the Dodgers and Angels during baseball season.
No Scouts that would sink a team. My friends should have told me why the team is losing, as I couldn't tell what is truth and fiction. It depended on which friend was telling me about the Lakers woes, as they can't agree on what is wrong with the team.

@Fishmomma That's always the case when siblings inherit a shared ownership. In fighting. Jeannie had a ton of experience and was designated by Jerry to assume control. Jim is one of the ne'er-do-well sons whose grossly incompetent. Jim once infamously said Who needs scouts? Just listen to the guy on the next bar stool. That may explain why the Lakers reduced scouting and were behind the tech times in judging talent.

I hate the lakers and I don't feel for them. The lakers have not had a winning season several years now but are elite with 16 championships enough for second place behind Boston.

I live in California and people complain about the team often. They have won a lot and think some people just expect it. Its hard when so much money is spent and now have Magic Johnson to blame. I'm not a Los Angeles Lakers Fan, as use to live in another state.

@Fishmomma The Lakers actually have a low payroll now. Bad decisions led to this. I know the rest of the country has a hate on for the Lakers. That's what 16 banners bring.

@JohnRoberts I didn't know about the low payroll, as I had always thought the wins came with spending money. Now I understand why they aren't winning.

Jeannie Buss should be in charge. Jim has no clue whatsoever.

That is what I thought, but wasn't certain, as haven't watched this team until now. My friends aren't happy with the team.
