Good morning, cold, frigid, windy, etc.A warm up next week.Weird weather Many of us hearing about fake news and now we have fake food? I hear that fake milk is the latest in food fight. Dairy producers are calling for a crack down on almond, soy, rice, milks the real thing cloud the meaning of milk. They even say the same thing as butter. What is going on?why this? I am not too happy with this report. But not surprised. What is next?

I don't drink milk at all - real milk or any other kind. I was forced to drink it as a kid and I refuse now!

I like coconut milk and the real milk. They have very different in taste, I prefer drinking regular milk with my coffee or warm with honey. The coconut milk is like a healthy beverage for me.

Reading labels (with tiny print) makes the grocery shopping trip take forever. I try to,watch my sodium intake....they add something unpronounceable...then I'd rather take my chances with the salt. I try to watch my sugar intake but they keep sneaking in the artificial sweeteners which a) taste horrible b) cause so many adverse effects.....again. Then, just give me the sugar. MSG....they try to slip that into everything. Gluten free seems to be the buzz word at the moment....do I care that my dish soap is gluten free? It it ever contain gluten? Would I eat it or drink it?

@Morleyhunt.That is the next problem.Same here tiny prints drive be batty. Not sure who to who to complain to. Most these product say gluten free.Your right there they do not have.People need to wake up on this. Not only that they charge extra. They need to get a grip and educate them self.Same thing with fat free.

@amadeo fat free often means, extra sugar and something else...sugar free means aspartame.

I think the dairy industry thinks the alternative milk industry is taking away from their business. But well, my tummy can't handle cow's milk so much - so if I can't drink it, I'm not going to buy it.

If I want to consume dairy products, I eat and drink things that start with cow's milk, nothing fancy like almonds or rice. I don't suffer from lactose intolerance, so why shouldn't I have 'the real thing'?
