We love them, we hate them, and we depend on them -- for our entertainment that is. I am talking here about actors and actresses - the famous and not so famous. Over the decades they have made us laugh, cry - and our hearts beat a little faster. Here is my pick of three actors from a long list who have managed to make my heart beat just a little bit faster - they are: Clint Eastwood, Denzel Washington and Brad Pitt. The female actresses I admire are Sophia Loren, Halle Berry and Kate Winslet. Which three actors and three actresses would be your choice.

@Kandae11 I agree on all those movies. My favorite John Wayne movie is McClintock with Maureen O'Hara. He also played alongside her in The Quiet Man. I agree, Yul Brynner is a very good actor, another favorite of mine is Jimmy Stewart. Two other favorite Charlton Heston movies were Greatest Show on Earth and Ben Hur with Stephen Boyd, another great actor.

These are good choices. I would find it hard to pick although Hugh Jackman would head the men's list.

For a long time, this was the wall paper on my hubby's laptop. He regularly watches those Clint East wood spaghetti westerns! I have many among our Indian stars. For Hollywood, Meryl Streep, Helen Mirren, Julia Robert, Sophia Loren, Audrey Hepburn, Clooney,Humphrey Bogart, Pierce Brosnan...on second thoughts.. I better stop. Its a tough choice. And the response will become longer than the post
