International Women's Day: Be Bold for change

Bangalore, India
March 8, 2017 2:21am CST
Hi All, First of all I want to wish all the women a very happy women's day. My sincere respect to all of them. We have lot of inequalities, gender biased mentality which we need to get rid of. The motto for this year is Be Bold For a Change. Yes, we all have to be bold to make a change and establish equality between men and women. P.S. - I don't know why myLot deleted my previous post on this! Probably I had given the link for the be bold for change campaign. Experienced MyLotters can throw some light on this!

Thank you Judy for the id. I will ask Alice. How do you feel about the status of women in Australia?

@ichchhe_mrityu We are very fortunate here with quite a few women in high status positions. Of course, there is still domestic violence and room for more women in high-level positions but we are one of the fortunate countries in this regard.

Thank you.. what is the status of women in your place? Is it like advanced societies where differences are less or like us where gender inequality is one of the major concern?
