An altogether new generation has come to our foster home! 10 new children have been received into the children's home. They are from four years to nine years old. I have got five of them into the local primary school. The other five are too small to go to primary schools. They will be kept in nursery for a year in the home school. As long as they are at school, I get some time to breathe. They keep me and other caregivers on our toes when they are at home. You can surely imagine how you would feel if you are a parent of more than two little children. Have you been to a foster care home?

Do you have two 'parents' in a house who care for x number of children? How do you organise the groupings? I would be interested to know.

In the children's home there are four families. Each of these families can keep at most 15 children. We have a foster father and a foster mother in each house to take care of the children. I am the foster father in one such family and my wife is the foster mother. I have 13 children in my family. Apart from looking after the children, I take care of the education part of the orphans, like getting them admitted in different schools and being in contact with their teachers and principals.

@franxav That is a wonderful vocation. And I'm sure it is a vocation and not just a 'job'. You and your wife would be making such a difference to the lives of these children. You are truly to be commended. Is it difficult to find schools for them?
