What's wrong with being a leader?

Absolutely nothing wrong with being a decent leader, but there is something wrong with being a dictator, a corruptionist in charge and a self enriching abuser. Unfortunately there are a few of these in power positions at the moment to the disadvantage of millions of people. I can't help but feeling sad at times when I look at what the world has become.

@Paljas The worst is when a politician that people considered a Leader turns into a Dictator. Many cannot see the premonitory signs and when they realize they made a mistake choosing that person, it is too late.

@LadyDuck Unfortunately you are right. This is basically what is happening in our country and if people refuse to see the warning signs, we will all suffer.

In small settings, like groups or clubs, being a leader is a lot of work. Let those who thrive on that kind of thing take the reins, they enjoy it. As far as heads of goverments are concerned, there aren't very many true leaders. A true leader is beloved my most of their constituents or citizens. A true leader doesn't have to "try" to lead, they are charismatic, intelligent, insightful enough and have the integrity, that the people will follow.

I hate some evil dictators like Sudam Hussein and Adolf Hitler.
