My two daughters are coming toght for dinner, no BF, no kids. Just the three of us.
I´m thinking about what to do that they like. I got out a roast beef (the one that almost made my fingers freeze yesterday). It is the same meat I used when they were children and I´ll roast them with potatoes and rice on the side.
My daughters will bring the dessert (Tania wrote about an elegant maracuyá icecream) and the salads.
If the roasr beef is too big for us, I´ll use the rest as cold meat for breakfast sandwichs.

Sounds like a nice time together just the three of you. That rarely happens once the grow and have families of their own. I can't think of the last time that just my children and I got together.

Fortunatly my 2 daughters live in the same city as I do. But still, it is not easy to do this. We get together on family birthdays and such, but then it seems that noone talks with noone. There´s just too many people.

I hope you enjoy your dinner with your daughters. You could always make a hash with the leftovers if there is any my boyfriend will take everything and mash it up and fry it up in a pan and it is so yummy.

I think the only leftovers will be a lot of roast beef. IT will be more healthy to use thin cut cold meat than cheese, ham or salami for sandwichs (in the no-no list of the doctor).
