Itchy Teeth

I have mild allergies and as such I find that over the counter medicine such as Benadryl hits the spot.  However, recently I've been noticing another symptom that is hard to deal with.  That is - Itchy teeth!   lol.  I suppose itching gums is a better description of my strife.  I read somewhere once that this can be an allergy symptom.  It sure is irritating.  I find myself wanting to stab myself in the gums, but of course that doesn't help anything, just makes it worse. Do you have any weird symptoms or allergies? Here's a link from a helpful dentist. :
Do your teeth ever feel itchy? Dr. Flanagan explains the many potential causes underlying this strange sensation and describes how you can relieve it.

@FayeHazel It has to be. What about rinsing with baking soda? My g'mother would say a bit of apple cider vinegar in water to rinse, but she is not typing this.

I have never had itchy gums or teeth! That's a unique feeling I hope it's just temporary.

My new neighbor was a dentist and already examined my teeth. Lol! Itchy gums sound awful. Try rinsing your mouth with peroxide.

@FayeHazel No, thank goodness. Nice to have him here for an emergency, although he told me he could recommend a good dentist if I need one. Good to know. How are your gums today?

I haven't heard of itchy teeth before. That would be difficult to deal with.

I don't think I ever have itchy teeth. But if I did I probably don't recognize the symptoms considering this is the first time I heard about it.

Ah, seems to be an allergy related symptom, though I hope that you never go through it, it's very irritating

I am sure that is very very irritating. Baking soda usually helps itching - maybe you can gargle with some or talk to your dentist.

Ah baking soda is a great idea. I should try it. Afraid that you got me there, I am probably over due for a trip to the dentist

I learn something new again. Try chewing on some Tulsie leaves.

Thanks for the suggestion - I believe there is much in nature with curative properties. Though I don't think we have tulsie here...
