To Make These Dogs Behave . . .

The picture shows the 3 dogs of my nephew, Enzo , Bella and Mallows, I took last Saturday when I went to our hometown to visit my parents and sisters and their families. They were placed there by my nephew when he went out of the house to buy something. They were unruly that’s why whenever my nephew is around so sometimes this cage makes them behave. Look at that, they seem so behaved, yet they can really be unruly around the house. Bella can be sometimes aggressive when she doesn’t like a person who comes into the house. Do you also have a cage or a place for your dog to let him behave?

Naturally if dogs are placed in such suffocative cages they are bound to behave badly. My heart goes out to those little beings. Surely your nephew does not love animals. Not all can handle animals. Handling animals is an art, an art that ensures their happiness and their good behaviour.

@SIMPLYD If the property is properly fenced dogs can be left in the property so that they do not go out. That is how dogs are maintained. We had three dogs and all of them were free to roam around. They were well behaved and mild.

Oh no, they aren't put in there for a long time. Only for a short time to ensure that they don't get out of the house and go to the lawn where they can be dognapped by the customers at my sister's snack house by the lawn.

Yes, they seem to be making the "paawa" faces. But look at Bella , the pincher, she still looks arrogant.

@SIMPLYD because pinchers were originally bred as vermin hunters and watchdogs

I think when a pet is alone she's more behaved. Having playmates can make them naughty because they will play and play around the house.

Poor dogs, we had dogs in our family, but we have never put dogs inside a cage. My niece at most closed her Lab on the balcony or inside the bathroom, but never in a cage.

They will just be there for a short while. When my nephew goes to school to teach, they are at his bedroom and when it's their time to eat, they are made to go down the stairs and eat by the kitchen .

I think when a dog has a dog companion in the house their tendency is to be naughty since they have a playmate to play with. It is good that your dog is disciplined and well behaved. No need for a cage then.

All my dogs were voice and hand-command trained by me @SIMPLYD . The problem for his dogs are the breeds. Particularly the Chihuahua. I had a 150-pound Akita, 80-pound Pit Bull and a 65-pound German Shepherd. Smaller breed dogs are very uncooperative.

Wow, that is nice. Your dogs are big breed of dogs and I think they really are smart dogs , unlike these small breeds.

Hahaha! Darna, the oldest of Macy's litter,is caged for 3 days now. She is in heat and unfortunately she was devirginized by her own father. Now,even her uncle Xander and grandpa Chibi are barking at each other fronting the cage for Darna 's attention but Thor is so relaxed, apparently saying "belat kayo Jan. Nauna ako."

@SIMPLYD yes my lady.last night the 4 macho dogs continuously barked while Darna was fast asleep.my sister was so stressed again. Me I can sleep soundly even they bark loud. Trixie our local mutt is not already the apple of the male dogs' eyes. She is already acting like the queen.she is trying to dethrone Macy.

What cute dogs he has! Yes, we have a cage for Angus but it was only used when we travelled with him. We have 4 dogs included Angus but they are well behave. They are free to roam around our yard. Only Angus is inside dog and free to go where he wants to but he is a contented lap dog.

So Angus is the favorite dog that has the privilege of being inside the house. Good for you that all are well behaved. I think my nephews dogs are naturally naughty or maybe because they are playmates.

@SIMPLYD yes, Angus is the special one. Yes, it's good that they are all well behave. They even know that Angus is the " king" in our house. Not that he is commanding. He is just so quiet and lovely.

I think that's the prize of having just one pet. They aren't aggressive and are friendly and loving. I think their being 3 makes them naughty and rowdy since they have playmates.
14 Mar 17
@SIMPLYD Oh no. I have a cat too and my dad have 4 rowdy dogs. But my dad said they are all afraid of me. Thats why they all behave good when I'm around.

Bella is the one at the middle, a pincher. She's an arrogant dog. According to acelawrites, they are dogs initially trained to chase rats. So that's why maybe she would really bark a lot when she doesn't like a person.

I don't have a dog anymore, but when we had one, we took him to obedience school. He always behaved after that and no cage was needed. I feel so bad for those poor little doggies.

wow, really . I think these 3 dogs should be made to attend obedience school. Though , none here in our place. They were only there for a short time. And when the cage are opened, they would run here and there. But we put a block to all exits so they can't go to the lawn, where they can be picked up by the customers at my sister's snack house at the side of the lawn.
