Have you ever eaten oysters?

I was talking about a friend about this delicacy. Today was the day he ate oyster for the first time and just like me, he also hated the taste. The dish was super well seasoned, but it didn't save the bad oyster taste. 
We wonder why something so bad is so expensive? 
What is your opinion about oysters?

My husband has eaten them, but is not a big fan. I have never eaten them and never will. Texture and appearance is important to me as much as taste. I can barely look at them, much less eat them. None of my kids will eat them, either. My dad, on the other hand, loves baked oysters.

I would love to try but it's actually pretty expensive. There's an area where I could get them at cheaper price. The last time I went there and saw them on display, a guy that came before me bought the whole lot before I even start picking one
There could be nearly a 100. What's he doing with that much oysters? Just want until I went to that area again.

I don't like eating raw oysters .. I like it kilpatrick or mornay ..

I love oysters and don't find them 'bad' at all. I usually have Oysters Kilpatrick but I like them any old way.
