Hello friends,
My kids were preparing for their G.K exams and my wife was asking them "which city is city of monuments?" They both yelled "Delhi"
I was shocked because I took birth in Delhi and have been brought up in Delhi did not know it. BTW I don't think there are that much monuments here but still it's said it's city of monuments. Daily lots of tourists from all the world come here to visit it.
Moreover as cities like Agra & Jaipur
are nearby that's one of the reason people come here and enjoy. Have you come to Delhi and enjoyed here?

Maybe it's time for you to take a visit to these monuments my friend since you were born there in the first place. No, I've never been there.

Well it is said that historically Delhi has remnants of seven cities like Shahjahanabad and others. A few days back I was reading about an "Anangpur" dam build By Tomars(Prithviraj Chauhan's dynasty) a long time back.
Many of these old buildings and archaeological sites are around Mehrauli. I have not been to most of these. I have not even visited Lotus Temple and a few other places. Yes, I think that I too can explore more places in Delhi.
