BACK TO THE DAYS OF THE CAVE MAN -- AND WOMAN

These days when I listen to the news reports I can't help but get the impression that we are headed back to the days of the caveman - and woman, but then on second thoughts - I don't think the comparison is a fair one. The cave dwellers of those ancient times didn't have the benefit of schooling and higher education - they survived the best way they knew how. What is the excuse for modern man?.
Whatever happened to good manners, respect and concern for each other? Yes, we may have all the trappings of a modern civilization and advancement in technology- but the moral fabric of society is rapidly decaying. Thankfully- there are still many sane people left in a world gone mad.

@JudyEv back then cave dwellers had their own rules oh fitting in the family, of sorts. They didn't have the skills we have now but our problems seem as dire sometimes with ill respect.

I share your concern about the quality of moral standards today. However, the Bible predicted that mankind would become progressively worse and not better, so I don't expect much. However, there are still decent people and I'm so happy when I meet one.

Morality has gone to the worst kind of its level,no one to blame before now those people were content with what little they had but today more..more...more.

Not depending on each other could perhaps be the reason for not having patience enough to tolerate each other.

I remember being taught things like good manners in school back in the day; please and thank you, cover your mouth when you cough, men take hats off in a building and a whole host of things that translates to respect for others. Today I am amazed when people still cough without without covering their faces. |It is a reality of a changing society.
