Inside the Cave

We visited the wine cave up on the hill when at Wollersheim and I got a photo of the inside. I wasn't expecting it to be as spacious as it was. I imagine it could hold quite a few barrels when it was still in use.

I do think it's really pretty but I'm still not sure that I could go inside lol

It's really not that deep and you wouldn't need to go any further in than the entrance (which is where I was standing when I took the photo.

It was pretty neat. I've been out to Wollersheim Winery before, but it was a very long time ago and I don't think that cave was open to the public then.
