Bit of a hiccup...

...but, it worked out, so not too big of a deal. The chemo coordinator lady called, and told Mom that her blood test showed that her blood count was low, so she has to go to her treatment an hour earlier so that she can have a blood transfusion. It's already a long chemo day with two meds, so this will make it be a little longer. Hopefully they won't have all kinds of trouble in the lab like last time Mom had a transfusion. They didn't cross match her blood, so we had to wait a couple of hours until they did it... I may just get the cross stitch project I'm working on done today.

I've read that you had a very long day. Did you get your project finished?

Actually, no -- I kind of got tired of working on it with all of the sitting...don't know if that makes sense.

@xstitcher That makes perfect sense. It can be difficult to work on something for long stretches of time.

I've been to many transfusion and I know the feeling, but never had chemo. I only have the machine for my kidneys. I hope your mom is okay now.

She usually feels a lot better after having the transfusion. I just wish it lasted longer.
